Clearance: Secret
Summary of Qualifications
I currently possess certifications for CompTIA’s A+ and Security+, Microsoft’s MCTS Windows 7
Configuration, MCITP Windows 7 Enterprise Desktop Support and MCSA Windows 7 Configuring
along with Cisco’s CCNA. I’m currently studying for Cisco’s CCNA Voice and Microsoft’s MCTIP
Windows 7 Enterprise Desktop Administrator certifications. I started in 1981 with an Apple II+ learning
BASIC programming language and have experience with Apple (II+ and early MacIntosh) and PC based
(x386 up through more recent multi-core systems) to include the installation, troubleshooting and
replacement of Operating Systems (Windows 95 through Windows 8) and hardware (DVD/CD drives,
internal and external Hard Disk Drives, LCD Displays, Memory, Video and Network cards) of both
desktops and laptops. I have implemented a small office network consisting of Cisco switches and
routers (3750G and 2911, respectively) that provide vlan separation, EIGRP and DHCP services, a Dell
server (R610) and direct attached storage (Powervault MD1000), NAS devices from Synology and Drobo
with printers from HP and Dell. I have also installed a wireless link (Ubiquiti airMAX) to share this
network with another office. I have 25 years of experience as a Guitar and Amplifier Technician where I
used many devices to include oscilloscopes, solder irons, tone generators, variacs, dummy loads, tube
testers and digital multi-meters and also designed and implemented custom electronics packages for
customers’ guitar and amplifiers to include preamps, custom switching and tone circuits. I have 15 years
of logistics experience comprised of 11 years in the airline industry and the past 5 years in the Iraqi and
Afghan Theaters of Operation. Seven of the eleven years in the airline industry were as a Manager with 2
different airlines providing supervision for as many as 300 people. In addition, I have a Secret Clearance.
